The association was established in November 2012, association currently include the following subdivision industry: construction machinery, automobiles and auto parts, machine tools, mining machinery, agricultural machinery, shipbuilding, General machinery, Casting industry, instrumetation and Mould manufacturing . There are 150 member companies, including two universities, one technical school and one research institute with Mr. Li Baomin, the president of Shandong Best Precision Co., Ltd. as the first President of the Council.
The functions and tasks of the association are: to make "professional division of labor, cooperative development to build an important base of advanced machinery and equipment manufacturing industry" strategy, based on the main line "change the mode of development and promote the transformation and upgrading," and the means of comprehensive services, to enhance the service functions, play a link role, build close contact between enterprises and government to construct innovative platform to guide member companies actively to participate in domestic and international economic and technological exchanges and cooperation, transform traditional industries and improve the industrial chain to promote the city's machinery manufacturing industry; to establish industries’ awareness of integrity and coordinate development of the industry ,to improve the external environment; to make use of resource advantage to attract all kinds of domestic and foreign capital and promote the optimization and integration of resources and equipment manufacturing quality growth; to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of member companies, to establish good image of the industry and enterprise and to expand "Jining manufacturing" and "Jining equipment" national and global impact!
Jining is located in the south of Shandong Province, at the junction of Shandong, Jiangsu and Anhui Provinces. It covers an area of 11,000 square kilometers, with a total population of 8.11 million.
Jining City is one of the four bases of construction machinery and one of the bases of the three special-purpose vehicles with advanced machine tools, agricultural machinery and mining machinery industries. In 2013 the city's industrial output value reached 200 billion yuan.
In order to accelerate the development of the industry and the member companies, the association hopes to establish long-term strategic partnership, strengthen economic and technical exchanges, create brand and develop the market in our country and the international market with machinery manufacturing industry associations, chambers of commerce and enterprises from advanced machinery manufacturing countries.
